Raiou - The Lightning Tree
Traducător: autarhe_a - "Raiou - The Lightning Tree" este povestea unei iubiri imposibile dintre un tânăr dintr-o familie nobilă şi fiica şefului unui sătuc pierdut în munţi. Narimichi (Masaki Okada), deşi era fiul unui nobil de rang înalt, crescuse singur şi torturat de amintirea unei mame pe care nefericirea o aruncase în braţele nebuniei. El însuşi era hăituit de demoni interiori iar reacţiile lui necontrolate îi puteau pune în pericol statutul şi relaţia cu tatăl său. În încercarea de a-şi găsi liniştea, Narimichi pleacă în satul Seta, departe de capitală şi de tensiunea din castel. În drum spre sat, tânărul stăpân se întâlneşte cu o fiinţă ciudată ce părea a fi duhul din poveştile spuse de slujitorul său. Însă, spre totala lui surprindere, duhul nu era duh ci o fată sălbatică asemenea vietăţilor pădurii şi la fel de periculoasă. Rai (Yu Aoi) crescuse de mică pe munte alături de tatăl său. Departe de oameni şi de problemelor lor, Rai ştie totul despre munte şi nimic despre lumea semenilor ei. Cei doi se reîntâlnesc în urma unei conjunturi neaşteptate şi se îndrăgostesc. Iubirea lor are un simbol în pădure, un copac ciudat, o îngemănare dintre un arbore gingko şi un cireş. Povestea acestui copac e la fel de improbabilă ca şi povestea lor de dragoste. Dar, dacă acel copac există şi se încarcă de flori de cireş în fiecare primăvară, va avea şi iubirea lor o şansă să înflorească?
