Pierrot Praying to the Moon
Traducător: maman_12003 - Clovnii sunt de obicei, de două feluri: unul cu faţă tristă, Pierrot, şi unul cu faţă veselă, Arlechino. Ei o iubesc pe aceeaşi fată, Colombina, dar ea il iubeste pe Arlechino, aşa că pe faţa lui Pierrot este desenată mereu o lacrimă. Povestea tristă a lui Pierrot a inspirat mulţi autori de cărţi, printre ele e şi cea pe care a citit-o Shizuru, o femeie de 41 de ani dintr-un mic orăşel de provincie din prefectura Gifu. Ea trăieşte alături de mama ei amărâtă de viaţă şi bunica ei bolnavă. Zilele ei se scurg mereu la fel, fără nicio perspectivă de schimbare, până când îşi aminteşte de cartea ilustrară pe care mama ei i-o citea când era mică şi care a lăsat urme în sufletul ei. Dorind să cumpere cartea care nu se mai găseşte de mult timp de vânzare, o găseste la o licitaţie pe internet şi o cumpără. Curând, cartea ajunge la ea, trimisă de un bărbat necunoscut din Tokyo, dar găseşte printre paginile ei ceva ce aparţine fostului proprietar. Filmul "Pierrot Praying to the Moon" (Pierrot înalţă o rugă lunii) este a 2-a peliculă pe care o traducem din Trilogia Lunii, prima fiind "Boat to the Moon" ( de fapt "Boat to the Moon" este cronologic a doua, fiind difuzată la un an după "Pierrot Praying to the Moon") iar a treia fiind "Three Moons", pe care sperăm să o traducem în curând.
