Traducător: Miuţa - Xia Tian e cercetătoare la Nexus Corporation, un institut de cercetare în care se studiază călătoria în universuri paralele, deocamdată în fază experimentală şi cu multiple efecte adverse. Numai că tânăra cercetătoare nu mai are timp să aştepte punerea la punct a tehnologiei: fiul ei a fost ucis de un răufăcător fără milă, Tsui Hu, care ceruse în schimbul vieţii copilului, documentele cercetării. Pentru a salva viaţa micului Dou Dou, Xia Tian se întoarce în timp cu o oră înainte de moartea acestuia, încercând să schimbe evenimentele, fiindcă sufletul unei mame rămâne la fel de iubitor şi de devotat copilului ei, indiferent cât de mult evoluează societatea.
